SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Founded in 2003, the Queensland Centre for Photography (QCP) is an artist-run, not-for-profit institution, promoting Queensland photo-media artists through a program of exhibitions, educational presentations, publications, international activities and the Queensland Festival of Photography. These programs focus on the creation of sustainable careers for photographic artists while delivering cultural activities for the benefit of the general community.
Developing cultural prestige and recognition for state-based photo-media artists by directing our efforts to interest groups such as curators, collectors, academics, commercial galleries, and the arts media; the QCP generates new national and international opportunities including exhibitions, reviews and commissions, generating new markets and providing greater exposure for Queensland artists.
By fostering international exchange the public benefit from a progressive and maturing local arts scene while having access to thought-provoking exhibitions of international and national artists.
With its state-of-the-art facilities, the QCP provides a sophisticated and stylish setting for intimate or large gatherings for corporations interested in sponsoring the institution and its activities.

Another way to support the Queensland Centre for Photography is through Gallery Sponsorship:
Sponsoring the QCP is an effective way to support the practice of artists. Sponsors can do this by sponsoring one or more of the QCP's five gallery spaces, each showcasing 10 artists per year.
The rent of the QCP gallery is paid by the artist and sponsors, so any contribution by sponsors is a direct benefit to the artists.
