Kate Kirby’s series 'The Rapture' is inspired by the biblical belief that the world will soon come to an end. This series embraces the underlying theme of awe, fear of the unknown and wonder of what is to come. The dark photographs convey the silent struggle between the fear of reckless abandonment and the bliss of ultimate surrender.
