ACMP in Association with Sony a presents Projections 09 Photographic Screening at the Queensland Centre of Photography this Saturday June 6th 2009, 6pm
Projections 2009 will be showcasing a series of new works from 15 of Australia’s top emerging photographers in a dazzling high definition multimedia presentation. Featuring the 15 finalists from the Projections 09 photographic competition, including Griffith Honours student Harrison Saragossi, this is some of the best and most dynamic visual imagery you’ll see this year.
This innovative approach of exhibiting stills in a cinematic environment accompanied by ambient soundtrack allows viewers to sit back and experience the best contemporary photography in Australia by the newest wave of hot talent. Projections 2009 is all about the promotion of photographic talent that is big on imagination, innovation and creativity. Working in a digital industry, pushing boundaries, and being on the cutting edge, drive the sense of discovery that characterises Projections.
