Ben Ali Ong’s work Black Sun (the art of dying) explores the conscious mind and takes us into the dark depths of life and death. His nightmarish visions include abandoned interiors, exteriors and landscapes. Ben Ali Ong also explores experimental photographic techniques. He physically intervenes the photographic medium by defacing and sandwiching the black & white negatives. The result of such techniques draws the viewer further into his visions.
