New QCP gallery open to the public - last week of the New Skin exhibition
This week is the last opportunity to see the New Skin: Contemporary Queensland Photo-media exhibition, open until this Sunday 22nd February at the new QCP gallery on the corner of Cordelia and Russell Streets, South Brisbane (diagonally opposite Musgrave park).
The exhibition features works by Andrea Higgins, Angela Blakey and David Lloyd, Anika Wilkins, Annie Hogan, Bruce Reynolds, Camilla Birkeland, Charles Page, Chris Bennie, Chris Handran, David Nixon, Deb Mansfield, Doug Spowart & Victoria Cooper, Eric Bridgeman, Francesca Rosa, Franz Ehman, Glen O'Malley, Gordon Craig, Henri van Noordenburg, Isaac Brown, Jay Younger, Jenny Carter-White, Joachim Froese, Julie Stephenson, June Indrefjord, Kathy Mackey, Kim Demuth, Mari Hirata, Marian Drew, Maurice Ortega, Nathan Corum, Paul Adair, Paul Mumme, Peter Annand, Peter Milne, Priscilla Bracks, Ray Cook, Renata Buziak, Richard Walker, Robert Mercer, Rose Farrell and George Parkin, Siegfried Manietta, Tracey Moffatt, Virginia Miller, Vivienne Kelly, Walter Stahl, and William Yang.
This is a great opportunity to see a selection of the great work currently being done by Queensland photo-media artists. The gallery is open Wednesday to saturday 11am to 6pm and Sunday 11am - 3pm.
This exhibition finishes this Sunday 22nd February, and the gallery will then be closed until Saturday 28th February (4-8pm) when we open our program of solo exhibitions with works by Marian Drew, Lindy Wissler, Adriane Hayward & Aaron Burton, Paul McCann and Anna Jacobson.
