Martin Smith Publication Launch in Brisbane
The QCP is proudly launching our latest publication Martin Smith photographs - in response to... Friday 17th October, 6.30pm at the Queensland College of Art, 226 Grey Street, South bank.
The monograph will be officially launched by David Broker (director, Canberra Contemporary Art Space) at 7pm.
The 56-page hard-cover publication with essays by Karra Rees (curator, Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne), Charles Robb (artist, Brisbane), Martin Smith and with a foreword by musician David McCormack, will be available on the night for $55 - cash sales only.
This monograph will subsequently be launched at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne on Thursday 30th October and at Stills Gallery, Sydney on Wednesday 5th November. These events will coincide with exhibition openings of Martin Smiths works at both venues.
The book can also be purchased from The QCP website (but there is then a $15 postage fee in addition to the $55 for the book).
The Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland, has provided $15,625 towards this publication.
