Brave New World is QCP's contribution to Queensland Festival of Photography 3 (QFP3). The exhibition features works by 19 artists: Paul Adair, Camilla Birkeland, Priscilla Bracks, Alex Chomicz, Nathan Corum, Kim Demuth, Rose Farrell & George Parkin, Bronek Kozka, Imogen MacDonald, Paul Mumme, Lyndal Petzke, Bruce Reynolds, Rebecca Smith, Walter Stahl, Heidi Stevens, Hugh Swingler Manning, David Trautrimas and Beverley Veasey.

Historically photography has been linked to memory, archives and the real.With photography losing its lustre as a medium for veracity, a new generation of artists has begun to address photography as a fictional medium. This fictional capacity has opened the medium to the exploration of possible futures, and - as shown in this exhibition - artists are now examining photography not only as medium for critical discourse but as a medium for proposals.
