Shoot low! They are riding Shetlands is part of the 2008 Queensland Festival of Photography, and features works by Priscilla Bracks, Pamela Mei-Leng See, Gordon Craig, Maurice Ortega, Nathan Corum, Jonathan McBurnie, Chris Bennie and Leah Emery.

Historically photo documentation has been the choice of form for political comment within the photographic medium. This exhibition seeks to address new modes that deal with political comment and are focussed on challenging the factual documentary nature of the photograph. The selection of cross disciplinary works present a refreshing, often humorous and somewhat satirical view of what we have come to believe is reality.
