'Two Days Till Saturday' by Scott Howes

One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. – Henry Miller

The idea of travel is exciting and forever romanticised by the heroic and seductive images we are exposed to from far off lands, providing us with endless opportunities to learn and grow.

This same quixotic view saw me travelling across Australia with two strangers to produce this body of work. While the images in this series describe my idealisation of travel, accompanying journal entries punctuate the short comings and disappointment of this experience.
