This series seven and fifteen is part of an ongoing creative maternal inquiry into the complex, passionate and intimate relationship between mother and child via the photographic portrait.

Toni Wilkinson is a Perth based photographer who has exhibited widely throughout Australia. In 2009 Toni has shown at Johnston Gallery, The Australian Centre of Photography, Lawrence Wilson Gallery and the Pingyao International Photography Festival in China.

Toni is currently completing a PHD at Edith Cowan University and lectures at Curtin University in Western Australia.
