Rachel Marsden has been photographing since 2002 when she began a training program in art and technology. She immediately fell in love with the darkroom and went on to complete a Diploma of Photography.

Obsessed with learning as much as she could about photographic art in 2008 she graduated from the Queensland College of Art with a Bachelor of Photography (Photographic art practice).

Her work has been exhibited in group and solo shows and she has received multiple awards along the way. Her work explores themes of impermanence, loss, change and the cycles of nature.
