Much of my work is inspired by my inexhaustible curiosity in that which we brush aside as banal or ordinary. I obsess over the intricacies of the human condition I see in the transitional nature of the everyday. The ongoing projects I work on tell stories from my backyard, and often imply an almost personal narrative. My work investigates the importance of the local while seeking to find quiet and unnoticed gaps in the otherwise rushed and hectic urban chaos of our existence. To me, the smallest and seemingly most insignificant moments can be the keepers and revealers of this mystery that is life.
