Vision: to make QCP a strong organization that promotes the connection between photo-media artists to local and international audiences.

Mission: to develop and promote Australian photo-media art by fostering connections between institutions, artists, galleries, curators, publishers and the photographic community, creating and coordinating events that stimulate a dynamic interaction in the photo-media art environment while enhancing the level of professional practice.

Values: QCP is committed to diversity of practice, critical thinking and multiculturalism, to the promotion of excellence and experimentation, to the celebration and creation of dialogues on photo-media practice. The QCP is a non-discriminatory organization.

Strategy: to create a broad community to support photo-media practice through exhibitions, international programs, publications, public programs and the Queensland Festival of Photography.
